The Top 3 Supplements for cold prevention!

By the time you feel that tickle you're already starting to lose the battle and it may be too late a cold is beginning to manifest itself! My plan of action is this. Prevent proactively! Meaning if you know you're heading into a crowd of people tonight or going on a flight or simply spending the night in with your sick spouse. Don't wait to start feeling the first symptom!

You might ask ok well I know I'm going to be around sick people today what do you suggest. The best preventative measures that I've found work for me are the following.

Mushrooms, Vitamin C and Oregano Oil.

All of which have great studies to support thier effectiveness in not only prevention but treatment as well. Now I know Mushrooms is a little vague the ones I support the most and in fact if you can only do one it would be a product called Life Shield by New Chapter. It's a convenient pocket sized oral spray that send proven anti-viral mushrooms right to the source.

For Vit C taking doses of 2-4 grams (ie. 2000-4000mg) prior to being exposed to a cold will greatly diminish the odds of developing the virus.

As for Oregano there is a product called Oreganol on the market by a company called North American Herb and Spice. Their products are researched to show effectiveness in treating a variety of ailments, the big key is that THEY WORK! Although the liquid does have a shall I say unique flavour the benefits far outweigh the downside of the taste.

So that's it short and sweet. Besides this do the obvious and get as much sleep as possible when feeling worn down and reduce contact with known sick people until you're feeling better again. Besides that cut back the sugar! Some studies have shown sugar can cut down your immune system response by 2+ hours! Anyone wanna get sick! I thought so. SO put down that cookie and pick up some veggies, yet another boon to fighting off illness.

Protect yourself, remember that tickle in the throat is more than an indication of becoming sick. You already are!
